About the cost of renting a mobile phone
♦  What do the rental costs consist of?
The cost of a rental consists of
- rental fee
- delivery charge
- call charges

♦  Is there a minimum call charge?
No.

♦  When and how do I pay?
Payment is normally by credit card. We accept VISA, Mastercard and American Express.
Mobile phone rental fees and delivery charges must be paid 2 days before the phone is dispatched. Call charges will be charged to your credit card after your mobile phone is returned to us.

♦  Can I get an itemised bill for my call charges?
Yes, we will send you an itemized bill before call charges are charged to your credit card.

♦  Do you charge for recieved calls?
We do not charge for calls recieved in the UK but there are charges for any calls recieved outside the UK. Please refer to our price list.

♦  How much does it cost to connect to the internet using the mobile phone?
If you connect the Internet using GPRS, it will cost 0.5 pence per 1kb data transmission. If you connect using a local diallup number, it will cost 35 pence per minute.

♦  How much do you charge if I cancel my order?
You may cancel your order at any time up to three working days before your phone is delivered. There is no charge for this.
If you cancel after this time but before using the phone the minimum rental charge of one week's phone rental plus delivery charges will be incurred.

♦  How much do you charge if the mobile phone is lost, stolen or damaged?
The customer will be asked to pay an amount equivalent to the value of the mobile phone upto a maximum charge of £180.00.

Yes.

♦  Will I know my phone number and email address in advance?
We will inform you of your mobile phone number at least two days in advance of your rental. Your email address, if applicable, will be confirmed when you reserve your phone.

♦  Can I connect my PC to the Internet using the mobile phone?
Yes. You can use the phone as a modem and connect your PC to the Internet. We will supply a UK dialup account or you can use your own service provider.

♦  What do I need to connect to the Internet using the mobile phone?
A PC with Windows XP or Windows 98.

♦  My PC does not have bluetooth. Can you provide a bluetooth adapter?
Yes, please see the price list. Our adaptors support Windows 98, SE, Me, 2000, and XP. Please check your PC has a USB connection.

♦  Do your mobile phones have voicemail?

About rental in general
♦  How do you define the rental duration?
The rental starts from when you receive your mobile phone and ends when you take the mobile phone to a post office.

♦  Where can I receive my mobile phone?
We will the phone to the address you specified by registered mail.

♦  How do I return the mobile phone?
Simply put the phone and accessories into the prepaid delivery envelope provided and hand it in at a post office. Post offices are open 9:00 - 17:00 from Monday to Friday and 9:00 - 12:00 on Saturday. Major post offices and post offices in London are normally open until 17:00 on Saturday too. Note that post offices are closed on Sundays and UK bank holidays.

♦  Can I return the mobile phone from the airport?
You can post your mobile phone from the post offices at Heathrow airport. They are located in Terminal 2 and Terminal 4. They are open 9:00-17:30 from Monday to Saturday, open 9:00-13:00 on Sunday.

There is no post office at Gatwick airport.

♦  Can I use the mobile phone in European countries other than the UK?
Yes, you can use your mobile phone in the most European countries. If the country where wish to use your mobile phone is not on the price list, please check with us in advance.

♦  Can I return the mobile phone from the outside the UK?
Yes. Please use an appropriate form of registered mail as you will be responsible for the phone until we recieve it. The envelopes we provide for use in the UK are registered, tracked and insured.

♦  How far in advance should I apply for a phone?
Please apply as far in advance as possible to ensure availability and at least 3 working days before the day you wish to start using the phone.
